From 15th June to 31st August 2023, guests can enjoy an assortment of delicious delicacies at Horwood House Hotel, specially curated to celebrate the vibrant flavours of the season.
Priced at just £35 per person, the Summer Afternoon Tea at Horwood House includes a selection of mouthwatering finger sandwiches with a perfect balance of classic and inventive fillings, as well as a warm pea, asparagus, and pesto tart, expertly baked to perfection and showcasing the finest seasonal produce.
No Afternoon Tea is complete without scones, and Horwood House serves them in true British style. Enjoy the light and fluffy texture of fruit and plain scones, accompanied by luscious strawberry jam and indulgent Cornish clotted cream.
To satisfy your sweet tooth, the pastry chefs at Horwood House Hotel have created a selection of exquisite desserts that capture the essence of summer – think strawberry custard tart with a Champagne viola dome. Delicious!
And as if that isn’t enough, you’ll also enjoy other seasonal delicacies such as enjoy honey and lavender financiers, apple, rose and blackberry mousse and a decadent chocolate and yuzu cremeux, with a caramelised white chocolate crumb. Bon appetit!
