From luxury morning suits to velvet evening wear, Favourbrook's collection combines classic elegance with a contemporary twist
Tradition marries modernity in Favourbrook’s new collection
If you’re looking for rich autumn colours and luxury fabrics teemed with traditional silhouettes for your groom then be sure to check out the new menswear collection from Favourbrook.
Eco-conscious grooms will be interested to know that morning suits come in a variety of fabrics including recycled cashmere. If a black morning suit is too heavy for your colour scheme then the navy Furlong suit that proved so popular last year is making its comeback for 2022.
For the less traditional, the collection features an array of stand-out black tie menswear options with unique twists such as ornate floral embroidery. Rich velvet pile smoking jackets offer a quirky yet sophisticated take on the dinner jacket with the key piece for the season being a beautiful burgundy velvet Nehru jacket.
Season-appropriate waistcoats come in the form of geometric patterns and rich autumnal hues through to elaborate floral designs. The perfect way to let your groom put his personality into wedding day dressing.
About Favourbrook
One of few independent formalwear retailers, Favourbrook’s unique offering of formalwear for men and women is rooted in tradition but by no means constrained by it. They believe that wearing the correct attire for a special occasion doesn’t mean losing one’s individual style and personality.
Their collections react to the needs of their customers rather than trends. Established on London’s Jermyn Street in 1990, Favourbrook continues to provide occasion wear that customers will treasure.
Straight out of art school, Oliver Spencer was making a living selling second-hand clothes on Portobello Road when he was given the opportunity to raid the second rails of Stephen Walters’ silk mill. Full of ideas, he jumped at the chance to turn the leftover ecclesiastical fabrics he found into waistcoats. With the opening of the Picadilly Arcade store, the Favourbrook brand was born, making formalwear for people with a passion for textiles.
With a little help from a starring role in Four Weddings and a Funeral, the Favourbrook brand has largely built its reputation through word of mouth.
