Iconic British manufacturer, Dualit is delighted to collaborate with British homewares brand Sophie Allport, with the introduction of a bee-inspired design for its Architect Kettle and Two Slice Toaster. New for spring 2021, the charming and playful Bees pattern is inspired by Sophie’s love of gardening and the bees that buzz around the open spaces, flower-filled beds and colourful hedgerows surrounding her rural countryside home. The pretty pattern is applied by hand to the Architect panels in a specialised process at the Dualit factory in West Sussex. The perfect addition to your gift list, the Architect Kettle and Two-Slice Toaster with pre-affixed Bees panels are priced at £125 each.
British homewares brand Sophie Allport was founded in 2007 by Sophie and her brother Jem with a vision to create beautiful designs that make people smile. Inspired by nature, co-founder Sophie creates and paints all of the company’s product designs from her countryside residence in rural Lincolnshire. With over 40 different collections, from the charming Bees design to the popular Ducks collection, Sophie Allport creations are featured on fine bone china, kitchen linens, bedding, bags and home fragrance as well as accessories for children and pets.

Benefiting from an ergonomic design, the Dualit Architect Kettle and Two Slice Toaster are perfect for creating a style statement in the kitchen while the innovative features offer intuitive and reliable functionality. The toaster includes a patented Peek & Pop® function, for checking on the bread without stopping the toasting cycle, as well as Dualit’s patented Perfect Toast Technology for perfectly consistent, golden brown toast. Other features include a bagel and bun warming function and handy defrost setting. The extra wide slots can also be used in conjunction with the optional Dualit sandwich cages for delicious toasted sandwiches.
The matching rapid boil Architect kettle benefits from Dualit’s Patented Pure Pour® spout which provides a uniquely smooth pouring action to prevent any drips. Handy cup level indicators and an illuminated window make gauging water levels easy for maximum efficiency and energy saving, whilst the 360-degree axis power base ensures ease of use. In addition, the push button opening mechanism keeps hands safe from hot steam, as it is not necessary to pull the lid to open it.
