Designed by award-winning Champalimaud Design, the décor at Monkey Island Estate juxtaposes timeless glamour and traditional features with a modern and relaxed countryside style. The island’s Pavilion is home to The River Room, bathed in natural light with stunning views of the River Thames and access to the lawns and private patio. The spacious Marlborough Ballroom boasts a botanical chandelier, art deco mirrored panelling and panoramic river views.

Should weather allow, couples can host their wedding ceremony outdoors on The Temple Lawn, a space suitable for large marquees that accommodate up to 300 guests. On the day itself, couples can take a moment and retreat to the romantic Shepherd’s Hideaway to enjoy a few minutes of calm together amidst the buzz of their big day.

Celebrations can long continue after dancing and the sun sets as newlyweds and their loved ones gather round the firepit to stargaze before toasting marshmallows and of course to the happy couple! Rest and relaxation await the following day at the famed Floating Spa, a bespoke crafted barge boasting three indulgent treatment rooms and an Elixir Bar moored on the banks of the island.
