Whether it’s a traditional wedding day or you want to throw out the rule book completely, Rookery Hall Hotel will tailor your unique wedding day. Set in 38 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside, this Georgian manor house combines enchanting period features with contemporary elegance.

Built in 1816, Rookery Hall displays the hallmarks of its era with richly toned wood-panelling, expertly crafted staircase and mosaic tiled flooring. And, with uninterrupted views across lush parkland, a fountain and a lake, this is a truly romantic venue.

The Wardle Suite
Light and airy, this space has floor to ceiling windows that look out across the breath-taking Cheshire countryside, with direct access to a private outdoor terraced area. The fountain lawn is perfect for al fresco reception drinks in the fresh air.

Civil ceremony – up to 120 guests

The Worleston Suite
This is Rookery Hall’s largest suite and displays a neutral décor to compliment any theme. Guests enjoy direct access to the gardens and terrace, with the Old Hall and fountain lawn offering a myriad of opportunities for fabulous photographs.

Wedding breakfast – up to 160 guests
Evening reception – up to 250 guests

The Morning Room
This intimate setting offers a warm atmosphere for a luxury fine dining experience or romantic twilight wedding. Within the Old Hall, the wood-panelled Morning Room has an abundance of traditional features and delightful views over the fountain lawn.

Lakeside Ceremony
Positioned alongside the tree-lined avenue and picturesque lake, get married under a canopy of leaves with the gentle bubbling of the water fountains in the background. This sprawling space features a charming pagoda with the soft shades of grey stone that make up the Old Hall’s façade in the distance, and where you can say your vows surrounded by stunning scenery and loved ones.

Exclusive use
The best way to enjoy Rookery Hall is with ‘Exclusive Use’, where the venue is just for you. Relax and celebrate with only your nearest and dearest for company.

Stay the night

Extend your celebrations overnight and enjoy a delicious private breakfast the following morning. Rookery Hall boasts 70 bedrooms offering an enchanting mix of old and new. For the happy couple, your very own choice of Bridal Suite, individually styled with features such as a four poster bed and a roll-top bath, is yours. Suites have period detailing, garden views and traditional décor, and there are spacious rooms for families too.

Your venue, morning, noon and night
In the run up to the main event, enjoy a sparkling afternoon tea or use of the health club and spa for your hen or stag celebration, or reserve a stunning private dining room to host a welcome dinner before the big day.

The stylish deluxe rooms come with spacious living areas, period features and dressing tables – a joy to get ready in and capture those exciting ‘morning of the wedding’ photographs. Dedicated rooms, lounges and suites will be available solely for the wedding party to enjoy.
